On the 27th of July 2015, we were able to realise our dream of owning a ‘home of our own’ and moved from ‘Wijerama House’ to the new ‘SLCP House’, at 44/1, Gnanartha Pradeepa Mawatha (Maradana Road), Colombo 08.
The SLCP House was ceremonially declared open by Professor Priyani E. Soysa, Emeritus Professor of Paediatrics on 28th July 2015 a large gathering of Paediatricians and well wishers were present on this occasion. Dr Timothy Chambers, Consultant Paediatrician from UK was the first foreign guest.
The SLCP house was secured through the hard work and dedication of a number of Past Presidents, Councils and Paediatricians who toiled hard and saved the necessary money to buy this building. We are all indeed very grateful to everyone who contributed towards this project.
